"Yeah." Lark quickly took aim at the creatures head. BANG! He smirked at the hole, and quickly looked for his next target. Lark was normally a nice laid-back kinda guy, but these creatures brought out the worst in him. 'This'll show you what my little brother felt...' He thought shooting the next one. "God I hate these things." He said out loud.
Ooc| I agree, I'll brainstorm for names.

Virginia smirked. "Finally! Something to do!" She started to run into the crowd of creatures, shoving her way past the front line Privates who were shooting. They all backed off as she ran by, knowing she could handle herself. Before they could even turn around, she pulled out her sword and slashed a creature's throat, making it fall to the ground and bleed. Her sword, which was apparently named Atsuko as she learned today, was glowing the strange color. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Rogue sitting on the window-sill.

Lark stood off to the side and panted. He was starting to get annoyed with all the creatures. ((I feel like adding a twist for my character)) Lark quickly drew a wired design on the ground and out his hands near it.
A soft blue light shown from the design, and Lark watched the wall shoot from random places and kill two more of the creatures. "I may have forgotten to tell you, I'm an accomplished Alchemist." He rubbed the back of his head in a nervous sort of way and smiled.

Virginia stared at Rogue for a moment before turning around to Lark. "I'm still not going to kill you yet, Rogue..." Running towards the remaining creatures, she swung her sword, the electric blue light suddenly shining brighter. When she swung her sword into a full arc, the light trailed off, descintigrating(sp?) two out of the three creatures. "So that's what the glow is for... Hah! Cool!" She laughed as she ran to Lark. "Didn't know it could do that... That's why my Dad loved this sword so much!"

"Heh, yeah." He said. He stared at Rogue and glared. "Leave!" He hissed. Rogue stuck his tongue out at Lark, but complied and dropped out of the window. "I feel so tired now, we should send a cleaning crew out here." He stretched but stopped in the middle of it.
"Please don't tell anyone about my Alchemy... If they found out I would asked to do things I shouldn't, couldn't and, wouldn't do. It's not like magic, in order to obtain, I must give something up. Like, the wall, I had to alter it's design to make it do that. I can't just create things out of thin air." He gave her his best puppy dog eyes, which if he could say so himself, were pretty good.

Ooc| How about calling them Glymeras? Just a thought...
Bic| Virginia stared at the window for a moment, watching Rogue drop out of the window. "Yeah, yeah. As long as you say nothing about my sword, we're even." She smiled slightly. " 'Human kind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of equivilent exchange.' I know alot about Alchemy, so don't worry. My Mother taught me to use some of it, but not alot."

Ooc|| Glymeras huh? Perfect! We use it! 'Human kind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange' Guess I'm not the only fan here? ^^
Bic|| Lark nodded in agreement. "Deal." He smiled and looked back down the hall way. "I'm getting tired. You wanna go get some coffee with me? I have night duty." He groaned to show his disapproval. He then shrugged and walked down the hall.
'If she wants to come, she'll follow.' He thought.
The smell of cooking food soon met Lark's nose. "Thank god!" He all but ran and took a cup of hot coffee. He almost dropped it when he burned his mouth. "Ahhh, Mother-" He quickly added milk to cool it off. He sighed at the perfect temperature.
"Stupid night shiftyness." He said mostly to himself.

Ooc| No, you're not. ^_^ I just thought of the word Glymera for absolutely no reason... Just the way I am xD
Bic| Virginia glanced back at the window for a moment, trying to decide what to do. It seemed like she and Lark were getting along but... 'Ahh, screw it...' She ran to where Lark went, surprised to catch up to him so easily. "Don't burn yourself, hothead." Virginia also grabbed a cup of coffee, with two sugars and creamer in it, sitting down on a nearby bench to enjoy it.

Ooc| I adore your originality! ^.~
Bic|| "To late!" He told her grinning. Then he sat down next to her. He looked around the room at what he assumed were the people he would be spending his night with. "Great..." He muttered at the lack of people.
Ooc|| Ughh, I has writers block!!

Ooc| Haha, thank you! It's how I like my coffee xD
Bic| Virginia glanced over at Lark and then glanced over at the group he was staring at. She laughed slightly. "Don't worry, I'll ask the Corporal if he can allow me to take night shift. Most of the time, I can't sleep anyway and besides... I like the nighttime alot better then daytime." She grinned slightly, rubbing the hilt of her sword involuntarily. "And I think the General is on your nightshift team..."

Ooc|| Yayz!
Bic|| Lark groaned and put his head on the table, covering his face with his hands. "Thats just great... I hope you can come with me." He sighed after the muffled words came from his mouth.

Ooc| Everything sounds better with YAY at the end...
Bic| "Well, if you say that the General has a crush on me and its true... Then he'll let me stay." Virginia sipped her coffee, waving at some Privates she recognized. "Besides, having the General on your shift could actually be a good thing. He's really great in battle, especially if he uses his Escrima."

Ooc|| "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange..." Yay! New siggyz! I heart Fullmetal alchemist! Oh, and your right about the YAY thing. ^.~
Bic|| "I guess..." Lark sighed and downed the rest of his coffee. "Be right back, I want more." Lark got up and trotted over to get more coffee. After he was done, he came back and roughly sat down. "Some times I hate being here... I miss my little brother. I mean, I don't even know if he's safe or not."
Lark said, swirling his cup around. "And my Mom and Dad. Last I heard, my Mom was really sick." He sighed again and ran a hand through his hair. "Sorry I'm dumping all my problems on you." He gave Virginia a nervous grin.

"No... It's okay. I like hearing about other's families. I don't have a family of my own, really." Virginia sighed and stared into her cup. "My father died in battle by his own sword, the one I have now and my Mother died from a Glymera. I don't have any sibilings and none of my other family members wanted to take me in. So I got sent to a Foster home when I was seven years-old and practiced alot of my time learning to wield a sword, two-handed and one-handed." Virginia laughed, sheepishly. "I was only about eleven years-old when the Corporal saw how skilled I was at my sword."

"Okay!" Lark smiled at her. "Not a lot of people here like to hear about that kinda thing, cause they either have their own family's, or don't care... I'm sorry about your family. Sounds rough." He didn't like thinking about it. "So, how did the Corporal find you?" He asked her.
